Okay, MINOR MELTDOWN - modification needed.

Hiddy Ho neighbours…

I could handle it for one day - not longer.
Too many columns, here and there and everywhere… made me crazy.

see… it just looks sooooooooo busy

Back to two columns - that’s better. I’m happy now. Okay, I was happy before all these changes, I was happy making the changes, not so happy just after the changes, but now I’m happy after this change.

Did someone say change was good… (note to self, track them down and ruffle their feathers)

Hugs to you all for being patient while I change my blogging frock yet again.

NOW, on a serious note, a friend of mine is in need of some prayers and healthy thoughts for her ailing father-in-law. I was hoping you all could send some of your wonderful blogging spirits out her way. I know it all helps…

Cheers, Jenny

  2. Both look super good. I'm a fan of this one as well. And really to be honest, I don't care what your blog looks like, as I'm here to read about your adventures. That's where the truly good stuff is.

    1. Hi Barbara - thank you for the wishes for my friend and her FIL - I was just informed he's received all these wonderful wishes and they have helped greatly. They see improvement in him.

Thanks for the feedback on the blog - I do think two columns work best for me - definitely cleaner.

      Happy thoughts, Jenny

  5. Like I said to Hilary, your blog is lovely too - easy to find my way around and easy to read. Though change is good, it isn't for everyone… and it does take energy! (which I had a spurt of - but not for long)

    Thanks for stopping by. xxoo

    1. LOL is right… run Barb (to the beach), and I'll come chasing with a couple of cold ones - is that punishment enough! hahaha

Change is Good - no matter how I slice it! xxoo

  7. I like the three columns. On my two big monitors, it doesn't look busy at all.
Happy strong thoughts are headed his way!

    1. I liked the three too, but the more I looked at them the more bug eyed I became. I think the monitor size does make it look different (better?!)

Thanks for the thoughts for my friend - they are working she tells me. :)

  8. I have been redoing (and by that I mean thinking A LOT) my blog for months now! Seems I even had an idea and plan somewhere along the line...I also might've asked my 15 year old daughter to just do it for me! UGH!

    1. Ah, the endless thinking - I know all about that, been thinking far too long about mine and finally broke down to do it. It most definitely is time consuming… but, in the end worth it.

If your daughter will help you really should enlist her - the youngsters sure are at home with all this technology. Me, I'm a tortoise, though I'll admit I love doing it. Just wish I was faster.

Thanks for stopping in Andrea, always a treat having you drop by. xxoo

  9. I prefer 2 columns on my own blog and the ones I visit. It looks less cluttered and claustrophobic. Although Blogger does make it so fun and easy to change, doesn't it? Your blog looks very nice right now.

    1. For small screens I think that's true, I have a 15 in. laptop, though big enough I do feel things look squished. Cluttered!

I'm liking the clean white backdrop, as opposed to the many photos I've used in the past. It is fun playing around with it. I think I'm a closet web designer. My daughter does them for a living and is always offering, but I like fiddling.

Thanks for stopping by Karen - and thanks for following on Twitter. Cool! :)

  10. I also prefer the two column look. I still probably have more clutter on my blog than I should but time keeps me from doing a major overhaul. I've been removing stuff little by little though.

    1. The little by little is the way to go. I do that too, frequently looking at it from an outsider's vantage. Time is the enemy though, that's for certain, and with the A to Z fast approaching at least my Blog look is done. Nothing else though! hahaha

  11. I don't think it's too busy (there are some blogs that are just insanely busy... aka an eyesore) but two looks extra clean. I like it. Oh, and a double dose of prayers/happy thoughts headed your way.

    1. Thanks, Beer Boys, for dropping by and checking out my new look! Now, if only I could erase the "columns" around my eyes so easily! LOL

After looking at three columns for a day, I decided two would do.
Now, our good buddy Bushman, who has a monster big screen, told me three looks just great. I believe him. After all, would anything I do not look great! LOL again.
But, since I have a rinky-dinky 15 in laptop it all looked to, well, crowded. I can't think of a cooler, more sophisticated word, so crowded will do.

Thanks for the prayers/happy thoughts - they helped my friend's FIL a lot. :)
